Dr Ellen Howley
Ellen is an Assistant Professor at the School of English in Dublin City University. She was awarded her PhD in 2020, having completed a comparative project on Irish and Caribbean poetry. Her book, Oceanic Connections: The Sea in Irish and Caribbean Poetry was published by Syracuse University Press in 2025. She is an experienced educator and writer with interests in postcolonialism, the environmental humanities and feminism.
